In-Ear Monitors for Podcasting & Streaming

AMBERSONOS / CUSTOM IN-EAR MONITORS

Custom In-Ear Monitors for Podcasting & Streaming

Monitor your voice, your guest and the programme mix through custom in-ear monitors. Ambersonos offers a low-profile alternative to over-ear headphones for podcast recording, streaming and on-camera work.

What should you monitor while recording?

Listening to the microphone feed can help you notice clipping, unwanted room sound and the balance between speech and music. The useful signal has to reach your headphone output first. In-ear monitors are one part of that chain, alongside your microphone, interface and recording software.

Compare PRO Vivid for a brighter presentation

PRO Vivid is a starting point if you enjoy brighter treble and want to pay attention to consonants and fine recording detail. That preference is not a requirement for podcasting. Compare PRO Flow for a gentler top end and PRO Balance for tuning aimed at a more even tonal balance. Use familiar speech recordings when making the choice.

Your recording and streaming setup

You will need a separate microphone and a compatible headphone output. To hear your own voice while speaking, check your interface’s direct-monitoring options and your software’s routing. Monitoring delay comes from the whole signal chain; changing earphones alone does not remove it. Tell us which interface, mixer or streaming setup you use before ordering.

A different look on camera

In-ear monitors avoid an overhead headphone band. How visible they are depends on the shells, finish, cable routing and camera angle. We can discuss a restrained finish for on-camera work, without describing the monitors as invisible.

From a podcast to a live programme

For a live show, you may need to monitor a guest, a programme feed or production instructions. Discuss that routing with your audio engineer. Our presenter and broadcast guide covers the connection questions to ask before choosing monitors. The earphones do not replace a wireless receiver or a communications system.
