Decide what needs to reach your ears
A presenter might listen to a guest, the programme feed or instructions from production. Your mixer or communications system selects and routes those signals. The monitors reproduce the feed they receive, so the setup needs to be discussed as a complete chain rather than chosen by earphone model alone.
Start by comparing PRO Balance
PRO Balance is our starting suggestion when you prefer to hear speech and other programme elements as a whole. Its four-driver tuning aims at a more even tonal balance. Compare PRO Flow if you prefer gentler treble, or PRO Vivid for a brighter presentation. This is a suggestion based on sound character, rather than approval for a particular broadcast workflow.
Check the connection with your audio engineer
Before ordering, tell us the receiver, mixer or headphone amplifier you use. The connector, output level, volume control and cable length need to suit the job. The earphones alone do not provide wireless reception, an intercom or an IFB system. Compatibility should be checked with your broadcast audio engineer before a live programme.
Custom fit for on-camera work
We make the shells from your ear impressions. A suitable fit helps the monitors stay in place and reduces surrounding noise. Consider how much ambient sound you need to hear during your work. Finish and cable routing also affect visibility on camera; a custom shell should not be assumed to be invisible.
Do you supply a single-ear IFB earpiece?
The models on this site are sold as pairs of custom in-ear monitors. We do not promise a single-ear configuration or compatibility with a specific IFB system without discussing it first. Send us your equipment model and the monitoring task. We will assess whether we can offer a suitable option before you order.
